Facebook Groups is a great place to connect with like minded people.But if you have joined a large group which is too frequently updated by its users then it can be irritating.You will get notifications every time somebody posts into group.The best remedy is to disable (or customize) the notifications from the group.

• Login in to your Facebook Account.
• Goto the homepage of the Group from which you want to disable Notifications.
• At the upper right corner you will see a Notification button. Click on that button and select the OFF button. This will stop all the notifications from that group.

• You can also customize notifications using  Settings button. Under this button you select the activities of group for which you want to get notifications like all Posts, Friend’s Posts.
• Then click on Save Changes button.

Once you have Disabled notifications from the group you can  revert the settings anytime i.e. make it ON to receive the notifications.

Earlier when facebook launched their video calling feature they also launched Group Chat. This was one of the most awaited feature as group chat has been already available in facebook chat rivals like Gtalk as well as yahoo messenger.Now you can chat with multiple friends through single chat box.Using group chat is pretty easy and requires just simple steps.

• Login Into your Facebook  Account
• Open Chat box for any online friend
• Now click on Gears icon in chat box and then click on Add Friends to Chat option.

Type in the name of the friend that you want to add in group chat.

• Click Done and Start chatting with multiple friends

You can Add as many friends as you want.

inally, Facebook launched video Chat feature.It has partnered with skype for video chat.Facebook has started to feel the heat of competition as Google+ which was launched a week earlier has already features like Group Video chat  and now facebook is trying to play the catch up game. Now skype has owned by Microdoft.

• Go To  Facebook Video Chat Setup page
• Click on Get Started button
• Now,It will Download the setup for video chat.
• After the download is complete click on the setup to install the video chat feature.
• Once the installation is complete a video calling button will start appearing in your chat window.(see pic below)

Click on the video calling icon to start video chatting with you friend.
